The BI08H01KNX device has 8 inputs for 100–230 V AC. It allows for the detection of both voltage states (present or absent) and voltage state changes or pulses. It can be used, for example, to monitor mains voltages, to detect switching states or system states, to detect a state change during the switching on or off of a voltage (if a switch or button has been activated), or simply for classic on-off/dimming functions for lamps or control of blinds.
