PD00E39KNX
Eelectron presence sensors for wall mounting, HIGH BAY version (PD00E39KNX), suitable for installation up to 4 m. Includes a brightness (lux) sensor for ambient lighting control.
Rear connector with 3 digital inputs, connectable to potential-free pushbuttons/switches and usable for on/off commands, dimming, shutters/blinds, scenes, sequences, step commands, etc. In both versions, one of the three inputs can be configured as an analog input for connecting NTC temperature probes (TS01AxxACC/TS01BxxACC/ TS01CxxACC/TS01DxxACC), allowing the temperature value to be sent on the bus or enabling a complete thermostat module. The thermostat manages 2 stages with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating/cooling equipment, valves, and 2- or 4-pipe fan coils.
Presence detection is based on a passive infrared (PIR) sensor and provides 5 independently configurable channels: presence with or without brightness control (automatic or semi-automatic) and constant brightness control, independent or presence dependent (automatic or semi-automatic activation). 12 logic blocks are available for simple logical/threshold expressions or complex algebraic/conditional expressions, and predefined algorithms (e.g., proportional temperature/humidity control, dew point calculation).
The device manages the ambient lighting based on the measured brightness; it is also possible to enable the logic called “Circadian Rhythm” with which brightness and color temperature are imposed on the basis of predefined curves or on the basis of the real position of the sun during the day with respect to a terrestrial coordinate. This function allows lighting comfort to be recreated in a room that is as close to reality as possible.
Room brightness measurement is carried out indirectly and calibration is therefore required. The sensor is installed on the wall and the brightness detected may differ significantly from that of the worktop; through the ETS SW it is possible to set correction parameters for the device on the basis of an on-site measurement by means of a lux meter.
Do not allow sunlight or artificial light to shine directly into the sensor.
The sensor detects the difference between the ambient temperature and the temperature of moving objects and people; the lower this temperature difference, the less sensitive the sensor will be.
For correct coverage of the sensor monitoring area, do not allow walls (including glass) or furniture to be obstructed; if this is not possible, it is possible to increase the number of sensors in the area to have complete coverage.
Always mount the sensor on a stable site that is not subject to vibration or oscillation that could simulate movement.
Luminaires placed near the sensor or in the monitored area can cause false detections, avoid this type of interference as much as possible.
Do not have heat-producing appliances such as fan coils, printers, lamps, etc., or objects that move due to wind or drafts in the coverage area.
The device also integrates the “Virtual Pocket Logic”; The field of application is the hotel room: by means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input (also to the sensor itself), accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. It also detects unexpected presence and is able to differentiate multiple behaviors.
For a better experience, rotate the screen horizontally.
