The device integrates temperature, humidity, and CO2 sensors and two two-stage thermostats for controlling two distinct areas, both with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating and cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves, and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils. The humidity sensor manages the reading of the relative humidity in the room and allows threshold control with hysteresis of humidification and dehumidification devices. The device is equipped with four mechanical buttons (four channels) for managing on/off commands, dimming, shutters and blinds, or other programmable command and control functions. Available exclusively in preassembled 4 or 8-button kits, it includes a central RGB bar (non-capacitive, no gestures) and white LEDs on the buttons.
The device features 32 logic blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators, and using predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculations. The device also integrates “Virtual Pocket Logic.” Its application is hotel rooms: a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input manages accurate occupancy information. The occupancy detection solution can deduce the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. It also detects accidental occupancy and is capable of differentiating between multiple behaviors.
The OL-U® KNX® series is available in various colors and can be installed in 2- or 3-module boxes. It is compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, British, Swiss). The device is configurable via the ETS® application program and can communicate with the KNX® Data Secure protocol. The KNX® communication interface is included.
