The 9025 series device dedicated to access control management is a KNX device and uses RFID – MIFARE® technology and can be configured with ETS® to communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol.

The product is an out-of-door transponder reader that can be installed with the supplied glass covers that can be customized on request. The upper part of the glass is backlit (to be able to illuminate the room number or a logo – both customizations on request); in the lower part there is 1 button (typically with a bell function) and 2 LEDs displaying the MUR and DND statuses. The device manages the ambient lighting based on the measured brightness; it is also possible to enable the logic called “Circadian Rhythm” with which brightness and color temperature are imposed on the basis of predefined curves or on the basis of the real position of the sun during the day with respect to a terrestrial coordinate. This function allows lighting comfort to be recreated in a room that is as close to reality as possible. The SPACE BLE sensor integrates the “use function” which enables functions related to the state of the spaces and the related availability (e.g. occupancy index and % of use) and the “occupancy” function which detects useful data for processing information related to the intensity of occupant activity in the monitored areas (to generate ‘heat maps’ of the building areas).
The transponder is read by placing it in front of the reader, at a maximum distance of 30 mm, The color of the RGB bar of the reader indicates that the card has been recognized and shows different colors (configurable) for reporting statuses or anomalies such as:
– Card recognized (welcome): default color Green
– Wrong system code: default color Orange
– Card ID not recognized: default color Red
– Incorrect Card Date (validity expired): default color Yellow
– Wrong time of day (Entry time prohibited): default color Magenta
– Wrong day week (Entry day prohibited): default color Blue-Cyan
The reader also integrates a buzzer (which can be activated with the ETS parameter) for the sound signaling of anomalies.
The 9025 KNX® series can be installed on a 2-module box and is compatible with the main standards (Italian, German, English, etc.).
