The KNX DALI Gateway allows the interface between a KNX installation and a KNX & DALI digital lighting management system.
The product allows the switching and dimming of up to 64 DALI lights (e.g. electronic ballasts..) . It is possible to use 6 different addressing methods that allow the sending of group or individual commands via KNX telegrams. This allows a high level of integration for the lighting of a specific environment, for example in projects such as offices, showrooms, etc.
The KNX DALI Gateway can be integrated into DALI emergency lighting systems. It enables interference-free operation of control devices, general lighting systems and emergency lighting control devices of the same DALI system.
The device is able to integrate standard DALI control devices for lighting control according to IEC 62386-101 (DALI System) and IEC 62386-102 (Control-Gear) in centrally powered emergency lighting systems as emergency lighting. Alternatively or in addition, the DALI Gateway enables the control and monitoring of the functions of the individual control devices of battery-powered emergency lighting in accordance with IEC 62386-202.
Depending on the configuration, up to 32 independent DALI groups are available for group addressing.
Alternatively, 64 individual addresses can be used via the 64 channels of the DALI device. Optionally, total control of all connected DALI devices (broadcast) is possible.
In the latter case, it is not necessary to program the DALI network. The device is powered entirely by mains voltage and generates the voltage required for the DALI mains (typ. DC 16 V). This product is designed for DIN rail mounting.
