IPSBA04KNX
The IPSBA04KNX device integrates a KNX power supply with auxiliary output capable of delivering a total of 640mA, and an IP interface, allowing KNX installations to be implemented quickly and efficiently.
The device works in accordance with KNXnet/IP specifications; up to 5 different IP addresses can be assigned. The device is also a KNX bus node, with its own application program and can be configured with ETS® to communicate with the KNX Data Secure protocol.
The device integrates the MQTT protocol in client mode, which can manage publications and subscriptions of a server of up to 160 objects. The MQTT version with TLS is available, by enabling the specific parameter on ETS®, which has a reciprocal authentication based on certificate (server and device) and encryption.
The device also integrates the Modbus protocol in both “master” and “slave” configurations. It is possible to enable 160 Modbus communication channels, each of them associated with a different MQTT topic.
By enabling the “Other power supplies on the BUS line” parameter of ETS, it is possible to install two devices on the same bus line, at a minimum distance of 200 meters.
There are also 48 logic blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators and use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.
There is also the control logic called “Surveillance” which monitors that the KNX TP devices (up to 128) of the subnet connected to the power supply are operational “Online” by alerting the backbone if one of these passes into the “Offline” state.
On the device there are buttons and signal LEDs for bus reset operations as well as for Factory Reset or for viewing the activity on the KNX bus and on the IP backbone.
The device is compact, with the size of only 4 DIN modules and is intended for installation on a DIN rail in LV distribution panels.
The device also integrates up to 8 “Virtual Pocket Logic”. The field of application is the hotel room: by means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. It also detects an accidental presence and is able to differentiate multiple behaviors.
