The Mercure Timișoara project represents a concrete example of integration between KNX automation and the hospitality sector, with the goal of enhancing comfort, energy efficiency, and the overall guest experience.
Inside the rooms, a fully integrated KNX system enables coordinated management of lighting, climate control, and scenarios, adapting to guests’ needs while optimizing energy consumption through intelligent automation logic.
A central element of the project is the 9025 Custom Bedside Panel, featuring fully customizable backlit capacitive push-buttons that provide intuitive control of all room functions. The system is complemented by the capacitive KNX thermostat, which integrates advanced HVAC control and visual feedback through a display and RGB bar.
The automation system is further enhanced by presence sensors and advanced logic, enabling the automatic activation and deactivation of systems based on room occupancy, improving energy efficiency without compromising comfort.
At the infrastructure level, the system is based on F Series KNX actuators, KNX/DALI gateways, IP interfaces, and energy monitoring modules, ensuring reliability and scalability.
The result is a modern and connected environment where technology and design work together to deliver an advanced and sustainable guest experience.
