Digital inputs can interface with sensors, traditional buttons, etc.; the low-voltage output channels can drive LEDs for displaying statuses on traditional buttons or in synoptic panels.
The IO44D02KNX-S device integrates the KNX Data Secure communication protocol.
There are also 16 logic blocks with which to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators and use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation.
The devices also integrate the “Virtual Pocket Logic”. The field of application is the hotel room: by means of a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, accurate presence information is managed. The presence detection solution can infer the presence of people in the room using one or more dedicated sensors. It also detects an accidental presence and is able to differentiate multiple behaviors. The devices are configurable via the ETS® application program and include the KNX communication interface.
