TR32Ax9KNX
The TR32Ax9KNX transponder reader is an EIB/KNX luminaire in flush-mounted execution dedicated to access control with transponder card; Customizable, versatile and modular, it adapts to any application (access
to offices, hospital rooms, hotel rooms, swimming pools, saunas, sports facilities, reserved spaces, parking lots, etc.).
The transponder is read by placing it in front of the reader, at a maximum distance of 30 mm. The first data that is checked is the “system number”, if the code is consistent, the “date” field (if enabled) is checked to verify its validity (whether it has expired or not). Then check the “password” with all the codes associated with it and enabled (time slots, customer code, service code). If all the conditions are met, the door is enabled and, if set, the courtesy light is switched on and the reading result is sent to the bus. The configuration of the device, physical address, parameters and communication objects, is carried out using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software).
The LEDs and icons can be configured to signal other statuses or events.
The device is equipped with two physical ON/OFF inputs available for controlling the door open/closed contact or other signals (window contact, bathroom alarm tie-rod, etc.) and a front button that can be configured as an independent KNX object.
On the device there are two relays for the management of the lock and for the control of the “courtesy light” or for other use. On the front of the reader, the following functions are indicated by 4 illuminated icons (in the case of Hotel room control):
– “access granted” or “access denied”
– “request for help”
– “make room”
– “room occupied” or “do not disturb”
